The UNBC Aboriginal Guest Speaker Series invites experts from range of backgrounds to discuss a variety of topics. The purpose of this series is to enhance the goals of the UNBC Aboriginal Service Plan, which are: (1) increase the access, retention, completion, and transition opportunities for Aboriginal learners; (2) strengthen partnerships and collaboration in Aboriginal post-secondary education; (3) increase the receptivity and relevance of post-secondary institutions and programs for Aboriginal learners, including providing support for initiatives that address systemic barriers.
